The Featherstones consider themselves the only worthy descendents of Maeylth the Magnificient. Maelyth was a dragon who blessed their bloodline after their ancestor, the first of their bloodline, bested the creature. Since then, they have been marked with a draconic legacy. Or at least, that's the legend that got passed down and the lie that was protected.

But the blood grew thin and by the time Cassandra's generation was born, it was only her twin Cassius who got the magic. Cassandra wasn't the heir (that was Marcuss), she wasn't the chosen one (that was Cassius) and she wasn't the baby (that was Cassiopeia). So as the forgotten middle child, all she had left was her ability to net a fine husband that would raise them higher in the world. Cassandra distanced herself from her twin as he set out to help the world with his inhereted magic and left her behind.

And so, Alistair Stonewell arrived in her life to fill the void. Alistair was everything Cassandra had ever dreamed of. He was rich, handsome, charming and best of all; he loved her. Cassandra fell hard for him and was delighted when he asked her to marry him. She spent the next year of her life planning the social event of the decade. Everything was perfect.

Until she stood at the altar for a groom that never arrived. Instead, he sent just a note; 'I'm not coming'. Humiliated in front of all her peers, family and the gliterari of the upper echelon, Cassandra crashed out. She finally recieved her family inheretence and transformed into a rampaging dragon, destroying the church, a good chunk of the city and causing untold casualities in her escape. Cassandra reverted and wandered the contient in a fuege state, unable to comprehend what happened to her when an adventuring party found her and took her under their wing.

Draconic Barbarian Rage

For some, their rage springs from a communion with fierce animal spirits. Others draw from a roiling reservoir of anger at a world full of pain. For every barbarian, rage is a power that fuels not just a battle frenzy but also uncanny reflexes, resilience, and feats of strength. Cassandra taps into the primal rage of her draconic ancestor.  

Draconic Transformation

When sufficiently angered, Cassandra transforms into a pink dragon. This is an ability she is attempting to gain control of with mixed results. She can breath fire, fly, consume treasure such as gold and gems and smell magic. 

Vitalis

Citizens of Cassandra's home have access to a magic system called Vitalis that is shaped to them. Cassandra's vitalis is shaped to her identity as a member of the Featherstone Dynasty with most of her abilites being based around fire, draconic abilities and gold.
